These dresses often have no corsetry and impress with their soft lace and comfortable fabrics. The inspiration for Boho dresses is largely drawn from the 1970s hippie culture, which sparked the Boho-chic movement. Designers often embrace accessories from diverse cultures, with Native Americans serving as a notable source of influence. This has led to a current trend favoring bold lace designs that resemble natural fibers such as cotton and linen, providing Boho dresses with exceptional comfort and wearability.

What shoes does a boho or hippie bride wear?
Models and actresses from the 1970s to the 1990s, the forerunners of today’s Instagram influencers, popularized the boho chic style and influenced the fashion world. They wore cowboy boots or leather boots in the style of Native Americans, for example, with their version of BOHO-CHIC in conventional fashion.
A boho bride can choose her shoes depending on the type of location and to match the theme: boots, moccasins, sandals or even espadrilles. If she wants to do without shoes altogether and get married barefoot in the garden or on the sandy beach of a South Sea island, it is advisable to let the dress end approx. 3-5 cm above the ground.

If you want to stay true to the style, you could wear ethnically different accessories with a boho dress. Here, the bride chooses statement jewelry from the bridal store, such as larger earrings with feathers or floral motifs. A flower wreath or a headband with Native American motifs and necklaces and jewelry made of wooden beads or other natural materials are also conceivable. The outfit can also be completed with ribbons or cords made of natural fibers and leather. They are worn around the wrists and as a belt or bridal ribbon around the waist.

I would also like to share my experience now that all the wedding stress is over. From the very first second I was very impressed by the cute little store and the great company of Tukta and her husband Raimund. My companions and I felt at home in the store from the very first second. We were greeted warmly, warmly welcomed and Tukta’s great advice made me feel completely seen and heard with my wishes. Tukta was very patient, interested and put her heart and soul into her work. She took her time, even for every little detail that was important to me as a bride. I visited many bridal stores and tried on several dresses, but no consultant was able to respond to me and my wishes like Tukta did. She managed to find out exactly what I wanted and what suited me as a person despite the large selection, which was a bit overwhelming at the beginning. She was very patient and explained her opinion professionally. She managed to find the perfect dress and moved my parents to tears. Of course, the details that she sewed on the dress herself were particularly beautiful and made my dress something very special.
The dress, the appointments and all the arrangements worked out 100% despite the long journey, full-time employment or illness. I would recommend this store to anyone who is really looking for something special and individual, with the most loving consultant and seamstress Tukta!
